My Story
Hello, I am Rosie, a physiotherapist that specialises in pelvic health physiotherapy, particularly women that are pregnant or have had a baby. I graduated as a physiotherapist having already completed a degree in Sports Science and since then have developed a wealth of experience in many areas of physiotherapy. At the start of my career I was incredibly passionate about treating and managing sports injuries, particularly running injuries gaining experience working with athletes during the London Olympics and in two specialist running clinics. My focus has developed to pelvic health physiotherapy for a number of years now. I love being able to combine my passion for sports recovery and injury prevention within the field of pelvic health, particularly helping women return to sport after having a baby.
My Approach
I am a trained and accredited APPI matwork and reformer Pilates instructor and a Yoga Alliance 200 YTTC instructor. This gives me the ability to integrate my love for movement, human anatomy, breath work and functional control applying it to the pre and post-natal journey. My vision for Mae started when I realised that I was seeing lots of women who had particular pre and post natal exercise goals in mind and didn’t know where to start with finding good quality advice and guidance that would help them on their journey. Talking about pelvic health related problems or concerns still feels like it can be a bit ‘taboo’ and I want to help change that and make talking about your pelvic health easy!
